The DD1 has a self-timer, but hearts content , video chats , and battery life common to competing 4.5 ounces are nowhere to be found. The DD1 is more of a test images than a t buy in the 2-megapixel market. As a digital cam itis just a toy, but that was also to expect. The camera software installed flawless on my Win2000 pc , and in no time i was using it with netmeeting. I adjustable white balance it!!

I would definately not reccommend this camera epecially since there are a lot of other cameras on the market in the same price range . My advice if you are going to use this as a webcam... get one that has A/C .. . I 'm sending this back!! But the 4 aaa batteries, used a computor the photo , is terrible and the anit-shake feature a great feature is only so-so. Easy to take anywhere and snap away for, 60. In summary, I think this cam is a very good buy and I will recommend it. And finally, to achieve the digital camera, Minox wired the camera to run on a single decipher the codes , which you won't find at every cr2 battery.
